Women’s Clinic

Through the many years of experience in managing sexually transmitted infections (STIs), the DSC Clinic recognizes the need to offer female patients a clinic specially dedicated to their care.
The Women’s Clinic was set up in 2004 to meet this need. It is located on level 2 of the DSC Clinic and is run by only female staff. From initial patient registration to nursing services and subsequent medical consultation, female patients are guaranteed a clinical experience sheltered from male scrutiny.

This exclusive consideration for female patients has proven to be very well received. In a short span of 4 years, the Women’s Clinic has extended its opening hours from every Wednesday afternoon to a full Wednesday session, to meet the overwhelming number of females requesting for a female clinic session.

The services offered at the Women's Clinic include screening and treatment of STIs; management of other genital conditions; vaccinations for hepatitis B, human papillomavirus and cervical cancer, pap smear, cervical screening and counseling.
